Noah Balkovec takes us back to the 1980s and ’90s today with one of the most unusual Freak Out Friday entries I’ve ever had the pleasure to share.

He’s redesigned NHL jerseys based on the wide variety of blank VHS tape box designs that were available decades ago. Here we have just a handful of his creations with the promise of more to come. I love the idea of taking a design that’s unique on its own and finding a way to merge it with an NHL brand to come up with a one-of-a-kind uniform.
