We’ve been talking a lot about ’90s throwback jerseys for a few weeks, so why stop now. Zayn Bartlett gives us an Adizero edition of the Flames first third jersey from 1998. I posted another design using this logo just last month, but I feel like I’m looking at it differently now.

The praise the Blues got for their red-infused throwback makes me wonder if other old jerseys that seemed like a mistake at the time can gain new life when viewed through the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia. To that end, if the Flames do go with their retro jerseys full time in 2020, I’d love to see this as the alternate uniform.
