Blues Through the Years

For the second time this week, we have a new artist making his Concepts Showcase debut! Quinn Zielonko arrives on the scene with an interesting new set of uniforms for the St. Louis Blues. He writes:

The home set is simply the Blues current third jersey, which is pretty much a perfect jersey in my opinion. The only change is the “Gloria” reference inside the collar, which you’ll see across this set. The road set is what I’m hoping we see during the 2021 Winter Classic. It’s similar to the original 60’s jerseys the Blues wore minus the blue shoulder yoke.
The first alternate features yellow as the primary color. I also put in the fleur-de-lis pattern in the stripes and back number, as a reference to the St. Louis flag. Lastly, I had to pay tribute to the ’90s, when I was growing up watching Hully, MacInnis and Prongs. Always loved the trumpet logo, so I modified the colors in the logo, toned down the red a bit and put together this retro look.

As usual, don’t forget to tap the Extra Images tab to see his design up close and with full gear.
