Following the Penguins and Flyers jerseys on Monday, two more of the NHL’s Reverse Retro designs have leaked—this time from the Pacific Division. We may not have actual photos for the Ducks and Golden Knights sweaters, but there are reasons to believe they’re accurate.

Golden Knights bring the Thunder

The Vegas Golden Knights will wear a red fourth jersey next season, with a design inspired by the Las Vegas Thunder, who played in the IHL from 1993 to 1999.

Here’s my recoloring of a Thunder jersey to demonstrate what the Golden Knights’ new fourth looks like.

This leak originated with The Sin Bin, a Golden Knights fan blog, who shared a mockup based on getting an early look at the jersey.

I also got to see this one months ago via a trusted source, but was sworn to secrecy. Now that it’s out there, I can confirm this design is accurate.

Since the Golden Knights don’t yet have any throwback jerseys of their own, they decided to borrow from a minor league predecessor who played in Las Vegas in the 1990s.

Not seen in my mockup are the shoulder patches, both of which feature the Knights’ primary logo. There’s also a metallic gold Adizero collar.

Ducks bringing back Wild Wing

It’s also been reported that the Anaheim Ducks will return to their original third jersey from 1996 for their Reverse Retro.

Here’s my recoloring of the Ducks’ original third jersey to demonstrate how it could look in orange.

This report originated on Reddit via a trusted eBay seller called benhsports, who specializes in licensed NHL jerseys. The Reddit poster asked the seller if he knew anything about a forthcoming orange Wild Wing jersey for the Ducks. He responded by saying:

The orange part I don’t know anything about. The Wild Wing part however, my Adidas distributor said, “duck breaking through ice,” so I take that to be a variation on the Wild Wing. Again, what color the jersey will be, I don’t know. I’ve not heard orange or not orange. No idea. And by the way, I have a ton of Ducks secured and allocated to me so it had better be Wild Wing.

The seller, benhsports, was also quick to point out that this is “what I am given to understand... not official fact.”

I have not personally seen the Ducks’ Reverse Retro jersey, so I cannot independently confirm or deny. But again, another trusted source has led me to believe we’ll see something in this vein when the fourth jerseys are officially revealed.

Speaking of the Pacific Division, I’ve also heard rumors of a purple and gold jersey for the Los Angeles Kings. But I don’t know enough about it at this point, or what form it could take. Stay tuned!
