On Monday morning, the Columbus Blue Jackets revealed their 20th anniversary logo, which will be worn on their home and road sweaters throughout the 2020-21 season.
The new mark prominently features the cannon from the club’s third jersey crest and shoulder patch. This version will be worn on the team’s home and road uniforms. But an alternate version will be used on the third jersey.
As you can see, it takes on the colors and crest of the third jersey—which means the cannon will be featured three times on that sweater.
The last time the Blue Jackets wore an anniversary logo was 2010-11 for their 10th season. It was also they same year they introduced their alternate uniform and its cannon-based crest.
With the NHL Draft taking place today and a number of teams teasing big announcements, I’ll have a full recap of all of today’s reveals later on.
