With the Minnesota Wild hosting the 2021 Winter Classic just 10 months from now, it’s time for our first look a uniform concept. David Parkinson took inspiration from the old Minnesota Millers, a minor league team that first skated in the mid-1910s.

In fact, it was the Millers’ “M” crest that served as the Wild’s own inspiration for the shoulder patch the wear on their green home jerseys today.

I’d be surprised if this concept is far from what we see in the actual jersey design next season.
