Vancouver’s new AHL affiliate went with Johnny Canuck over his inverted “Flying V” design. But I wouldn’t call it a missed opportunity. One thing the minor leagues do well is specialty jersey nights. I would not be surprised at all to one day see Abbotsford try something like this for a charity auction. Amazing idea—even if it is a little bit freaky!
