For today’s concept, Carter Richard was inspired by an unused logo for the New York Islanders designed by former Adidas design director Jeff Eagles. The logo was showcased in NHL PROTOTYPES 4 on the Icethetics YouTube channel.

It was originally intended for the Isles’ 2015 black third jersey, but I love the way Carter added the team’s primary colors to create a whole new look.
